Drumstick - Tofu Curry

Drumstick aka Moringa contains proteins, vitamins, and minerals. As an antioxidant, it seems to help protect cells from damage. Reduces asthma attach in adults and increases the breast milk production for lactating moms. Also helps to treat the anemia, cancer, constipation, diabetes, blood pressure, heart, kidney problems and many more.


Ingredients:


1 cup Baked Tofu Cubes (Recipe below)

1 Deep Premium Frozen Drum Stick Pack (or less)

1 Tomato (Pure)

1 Big Onion (chopped)

2 Chilies

2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste

¼ the tsp Tumeric

1 tbsp Red Chili Powder

1 tbsp Garam Masala

2 - tbsp Oil

15 - 20 Almonds (not shown in the picture, grind it with Tomato)

Salt to taste




Preparation:


In a hot pan add oil and 1/4th portion of the onion


Add ginger garlic paste and fry it well (onion will help not to burn the ginger garlic paste)


Add remaining onions, turmeric, salt, red chilly powder and saute it until golden brown


Add thoroughly washed frozen drumsticks and green chilies and mix them well


Keep the lid on and let it cook for 10 mins in a slow flame




Meanwhile, pure the Tomato along with the almonds and keep it aside


Once the Drumstick is cooked more than 75%, add Tomato, almond puree and cook for 5 more minutes


Add Garam masala and mix it well


Keep the lid on and cook it for another 5 -10 mins in a medum low heat.


Serve it hot with rice
