Ingredients:
½ pound Green Beans
1 ½ tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Minced Garlic
½ tsp Black Pepper
½ tsp Red Chilli Flakes
½ tbsp Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Salt to taste
Preparation:
In a big pot, add the required amount of salt, ½ tbsp oil and bring it to a boil
Take another big bowl to add ice cubes and cold water and keep it aside (Required)
Meanwhile, cleans and cut the edges of the beans
Add beans into the salted boiling water and cook it for 1 - 2 minutes or depending on the quantity of the beans. (press it down until it submerges into the water, but do not overcook)
Drain the water and immediately place them into the ice-cold water bowl and leave it for 1- 2 minutes. ( pressing down until it submerges into the ice-cold water. This will stop cooking and gives nice crunch and color to the beans)
Drain the water and place the beans into the drying cloth or paper towel and make it dry to avoid splattering
Meanwhile, in a medium heat statue pan, add 1½ tbsp of olive oil, garlic, black pepper, red pepper flakes and statue it for less than a minute or until it releases the nice aroma

Add the beans and toss them well until the mixture evenly coated to the beans
Cook it for 1 - 2 minutes and turn off the heat
Garnish it with freshly grated parmesan cheese and serve as a side dish
